There are many reasons for the appearance quality issues of hardware stamping products. The appearance quality of coils, plates, and molds can ultimately affect the quality of stamping products. Operations during the stamping process, as well as the clamping and unloading of workstation tools, may also damage the appearance quality of the products. Therefore, in every step of the entire production process, details should be fully considered to prevent quality problems from appearing and affecting the final product appearance.
1. Coil material
The common defects in the coil material of hardware stamping parts mainly include the following aspects:
(1) The surface of the steel plate may have foreign objects mixed inside;
(2) Foreign objects fall off and the coil material is in a scarred condition;

(3) Damaged edges and corners of the coil material;
(4) The edges and corners (20-30mm) may deform or wrinkle due to uneven stress;
(5) Scratches (caused by foreign substances on the surface of the roller);
(6) Caused by roller sliding;
(7) Irregular and damaged edges;
(8) After the foreign object enters, the bulge is pressed out on the opposite side of the coil (if the foreign object falls, it disappears);
(9) Roller marks (caused by foreign objects adhering to the roller);
(10) Poor raw materials beyond the rules;
(11) Foreign objects cause significant grooves in the surface depth.
